This page explains what a master release is and how to use the proper Streamroot DNA™ release channels.
What is a master release?
In order to have a better view of all available integrations available, we have regrouped all our plugins, wrappers, and SDK in one single Master Release called DNA.
A Master Release:
- includes a set of integrations with the same features; and,
- ensures compatibility between platforms.
How to use Streamroot release channels
We will support two release channels. Each channel is automatically updated with the latest plugins versions available.
- Production channel: This is the default and recommended channel. It hosts the latest stable and tested version of each plugin. The plugins have passed QA and have been A/B tested in production condition.
- RC channel: This channel will host the latest plugins that are currently being A/B tested in the production of customers with whom we work closely. You can use this channel to preview the latest features that will be available in production.
